Currently, all clients of two SEBI-registered CRAs are categorised as "ISSUER NOT COOPERATING," Most clients of our other four large CRAs also fall under the same category. Recognizing the ineffectiveness of SEBI's various initiatives, the RBI is taking a proactive stance to address this alarming situation. The regulator must adopt a new approach and move away from the old practice of solely listening to CRAs while ignoring the issuer's perspective to resolve this issue. CA KKAWASTHI GLOBAL MARKET WATCH 25-06-24... MARKETS AS EXPECTED TODAY..... SEE YESTERDAY again in line with my morning post , we saw subdued/FLAT/mix trades in U.S AND MOST OF ASIAN MARKETS. NASDAQ traded under pressure due to reversal of gains in NVIDIA . HOWEVER IN EUROPE THOUGH MARKETS OPENED SUBDUED BUT SAW GOOD RECOVERY IN LATER PART OF THE TRADES. In India as expected we saw subdued/mix trades ONLY and close with mild gains. At close BSE ended at 77341.08 up 0.17 % and NIFTY 50 at 23537.85 up 0.16 %. TODAY too we are going to flat/mix and narrow range trades in most of global markets. In U.S NASDAQ is going to trade under pressure today too as NVIDIA may drag it tNASDAQ today too. In the Indian market, many impressive women are breaking stereotypes and finding success. Take for instance, Madhabi Puri Buch the Chairperson of SEBI, Radhika Gupta has a smart investment strategy at Edelweiss Asset Management, and Falguni Nayar's Nykaa had a successful IPO, showing how women are making a big impact in a mostly male-dominated field. We can see this impact in the numbers too. 38% of women are diversifying their investment portfolios now compared to just 16% two years ago. This means most women are investing in stocks. A survey by Fidelity in 2023 found that 60% of women are investing in stocks, and 68% are saving for retirement. Younger women, especially those from Generation Z and millennials, are leading the way, with 71% and 63% investing, respectively. Women are often good at investing because they can control their emotions and avoid making quick decisions based on short-term market changes. Remember, the financial world is for everyone.  Women shouldn't let their gender stop them from exploring trading. AFTER RE-AUDIT IL&FS PROFITS TURN TO LOSS A reworking of the accounts of the scam-tainted IL&FS has revealed a loss of Rs 9,600 ctore during the five financial years ending 2017-18. Originally, the company and the board had shown a net profit of Rs 1,869 crore. While audit firms EY, Deloitte, and KPMG are under scrutiny for failing to detect and disclose the irregularities, several top executives including erstwhile directors and #IndependentDirectors will now have to face criminal action. https://lnkd.in/gYdGAgYX
