You're frustrated with IT support's lack of empathy. How can you ensure end-users feel heard and valued?
Consider fostering a culture of customer-centricity within your IT support team. Recognize and reward empathetic behavior and excellent service. Use technology, like AI-driven support tools, to enhance efficiency without sacrificing the personal touch. Encourage an open-door policy where users can easily escalate concerns if they feel unheard. Lastly, regular training on soft skills and technical knowledge keeps the team well-equipped to handle a variety of user issues effectively. This comprehensive approach ensures end-users feel consistently heard and valued.
-
You're frustrated with IT support's lack of empathy. How can you ensure end-users feel heard and valued?
Empathy training can significantly enhance the way IT support interacts with users. Conduct workshops that focus on understanding users’ perspectives and emotions. Role-playing exercises can be particularly effective in building empathy. Encourage support staff to express empathy in their communications, such as, “I understand how important this is for you, and I’m here to help.” Training helps create a more compassionate support environment, making users feel genuinely supported.
-
You're frustrated with IT support's lack of empathy. How can you ensure end-users feel heard and valued?
Clear and transparent communication helps bridge gaps between IT support and end-users. Use simple language instead of technical jargon to explain issues and solutions. Provide regular updates on the status of their requests. Establish clear expectations regarding response times and resolution processes. For example, instead of saying, “We’ll escalate this ticket,” explain, “We’ll pass this issue to a senior technician, and you should hear back within 24 hours.” Clarity reduces frustration and keeps users informed.
-
You're frustrated with IT support's lack of empathy. How can you ensure end-users feel heard and valued?
Active listening is key to making end-users feel heard. Encourage your IT support team to practice attentively listening to users without interrupting. Acknowledge their concerns by paraphrasing and confirming understanding. This approach demonstrates genuine interest and respect, making users feel valued. For instance, when a user reports an issue, respond with, “I understand you’re experiencing X issue, and that must be frustrating. Let’s work on resolving it together.” This reassures users that their problems are being taken seriously.

Your IT systems are compromised by a third-party data breach. How will you safeguard your operations?
Immediately isolate the compromised systems to prevent further damage. This may involve taking systems offline, changing passwords, and revoking access privileges. Patch any vulnerabilities that may have been exploited. Ensure that all software, including third-party applications, is up-to-date. Implement additional security measures such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and intrusion detection systems (IDS). By securing your systems promptly, you mitigate the risk of further breaches and protect sensitive data.
-
Your IT systems are compromised by a third-party data breach. How will you safeguard your operations?
First, evaluate the extent of the breach. Identify which systems, data, and networks were compromised. This includes checking for any data exfiltration and understanding the potential damage. Conduct a thorough forensic analysis to determine the breach’s origin and scope. Use tools and techniques to map out the affected areas and gather evidence. Having a clear understanding of the impact will guide your subsequent actions. Prioritizing this step ensures that your response is focused and effective, minimizing further damage.

TWO THINGS ARE ON FOR NOW - IPL AND ELECTIONS The "Before and After" Players at IPL : Before and after matches, players often demonstrate that cricket is just a game. They maintain good relationships with their opponents showing sportsmanship, exemplifying sportsmanship, and embodying the spirit of the game. This shows that they recognize the competition as a professional and remain friendly, not a personal battle Politicians at Elections: Politicians often set the stage for a win-or-lose scenario, with many willing to switch parties or alliances to remain in power. This indicates that, for many politicians, the end (being in power) justifies the means, which can include drastic changes in loyalty and public positions. Viewers and the General Public: Ironically, while players and politicians might maintain a level of professionalism or strategic behavior, it's often the general public and fans who take these competitions to heart, leading to fights and spoiled relationships. This happens because fans and voters often internalize the competition, turning it into a matter of personal pride and identity rather than just a game or an election. For whom are the viewers and the general public fighting and ruining relationships?

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝟮𝟬 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟰𝟮𝟬 - ( 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 - 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟰𝟵 ) For the G20, a "routine" round robin event at Delhi, Modi got credited for hosting it by selling his ancestral properties worth 420 * 10 crores, rather stealing limelight from Bharat's Coffer, Modi was everywhere as he paid for it. "Ubiquitous in Delhi. He appears in different sizes at these locations: from the international airport to iron pailings; public toilets to petrol pumps; bus stops to banyan trees; and the façade of a metro station to flyovers and fences."- quotes ED raided Newslaundry as after effect. Mo-Sha duo's G20 PR stunt is reminiscent of Laurel-Hardie type comedy by Goundamani Senthil in tamil. Goundamani wishes to be so popular that he asks Senthil to make him so, handing out Photographs of the him and his Spouse. Senthil vouches to make them a famous Brand like Marlon -Brand-O. Soon Goundamani senses his increase in popularity with so much of inquiries about the couple's Photographs. Only to his surprise he finds the Photos at sign Boards for indication of Male / Female at Public Toilets. Though, we criticise Modi on his PR weakness, we also need to acknowledge on his half baked accomplishments as rightly glossed out by Piyush Goyal. https://shorturl.at/iftCb UPA's brainchild UPI Digital payments is a success except for cyber crimes, siphoning bank account money from gullible citing reasons like Minimum balance, swept under the carpet and atrocious taxes for simple Bank transactions and the impending UPI taxation after 2024 to compensate for NPA losses gifted towards Cronies. Bully Boy Foreign diplomacy is also commendable to an extent except for trembling with fear shaking legs instead of hands with China at Ladakh. The Government's impetus towards bringing in semiconductor industry is also laudable except for Crony friendly capitalism, making Free market India to an Oligarchy. The way major Infrastructure players like GVK got rough-handled by this Government, genuine investors are not going to bet on such risky adventure with a climate of fear favouring One and Only Adani and other Cronies. Despite all this successes why Modi could not advertise himself on his achievements rather on simple get together events like G20? None of the PR circus has translated to accomplishments for Modi to boast about for 2024? It's because none of them are real successes. Each one of the accomplishment opens a pandora's box of his own inefficiency, puncturing all his hot air balloons of empty accomplishments. ‘Ashamed of our presence’: Delhi glosses over plight of poor as it rolls out G20 red carpet. 👇 The first time Saroja heard about G20 was when tall green walls began to be erected around the slum in Delhi where she lives. They were to hide their impoverished homes from the foreign leaders who will descend on India’s capital for the G20: part of a £100m facelift. https://shorturl.at/UJDUG

FOR ALL START UPS, NEW BUSINESS OWNERS How not to loose money in your business ? Some very basic rules - 1. Unclear Vision - Lay down your vision clearly & do not start in haste 2. Hasty allocation of resources - Take your time & identify the right resource on the right job 3. Impatience - Start small & grow step by step. Don’t try to grow too quickly - that’s the recipe to disaster 4. Over advised - Do not take too many advises from industry experts - Too many cooks spoil the broth- go with your instinct. It’s important to listen but in the end it’s your business! 5. Lack of regular review of finances - Control your expenses from day 1 & review your operations and finances every month 6. Over investment - Plan and allocate your capital well. Many oppurtunities will lure you that may seem to help you grow quickly but weigh it judiciously 7. Lack of Return on investment - Every activity has to have a tangible or an intangible return. Make every transaction mutually beneficial & not lop sided Think about it & do reach out to me if it helps!

#beingcategorical about #discounts, #offers and #USPs. T for Tent card. Tent Cards are used in retail stores to advertise products and services or promote discounts. Most often they do their job diligently. Indians relate TENT with Marriages. Tent, as per hindi, is a canopy of decorative cloth, usually a canvas, to be hung on poles, as a protection from Nature's vagaries. Tentwalas have been in business from generations, usually tucked in some old dilapidated warehouse. The English Tent Cards, also known as Table Tents, are triangular table displays, folded in a way that it is readable from both sides of the display. Can a tent card exist in a B2B sales? In Zump® Expand. Sales. Capability. we follow "sabka saath sabka vikas" formula to the T. Companies are encouraged through their vendors(Distributors) to display the Primary and Secondary schemes, QPS (quantity purchase schemes) and Outlet(Retailer) specific schemes. This creates a democratic environment, a la sabka saath sabka vikas model, to let the schemes reach the least common denominator retailer, to climb the value chain and compete fairly and sqaurely with large retailers. In #ZUMP,nothing is TENTative. It encourages small and large #outlets to #explore #more-#brands, #schemes, #rewards, without breaking their #peace of #mind. Video credit: copyright owner

CSK vs LSG Prediction CSK are favourites to win for us. In home conditions, CSK are very hard to beat. They have a perfect combination for sluggish wickets thus most teams struggle to beat them at home. LSG defeated CSK in Lucknow but there is a great chance that CSK will return the favour in Chennai. The hosts are a better team on paper, especially the bowling given the conditions, thus, should emerge victorious. ICC T20 World Cup Final 2024- It was a great game of cricket. Worthy of a final. Now all the strategy gurus and leadership gurus will give Gyaan on LinkedIn as to how and why India won. I have my own analysis. Here we go. Following are the reasons why India won 1. ME - Hard Work-I kept moving around without sitting at a place. It takes courage and years of practice to achieve something like that. Call it superstition. But it works - Strategy-I wore green T shirt today while watching the final. You might ask why would an Indian supporter wear South African colours. The answer is last time in the 50 over world cup cricket final I wore blue Indian T shirt & India lost. This time I thought by wearing green, SA would lose. Guess what? It worked. Again years of experience & strategic mind coming into play here. - Trusting your gut-Through out the world cup, I watched only first half of the match, & went to bed. I watched the entire match today. It takes courage to take decision like that. I could have easily gone to bed after the first half. But I stayed determined and watched the entire match no matter what. 2. MY BROTHER -Determination- My brother was lying on couch through out the match without moving a muscle. The grit and determination was out of this world. Kudos to Sanjeev. 3. Year 2024 -Nothing is Impossible- All other world cups India won was in years that were odd numbers 1983, 2007, 2011. Year 2024 proved that against all odds, an even number can do what an odd number can. BY the way the same reasons above would have been the reasons of India's loss in case India lost Jokes apart, both India and SA have been given the tag of chokers. India reached many finals and semi finals but could not win a ICC trophy in the last decade. SA never reached a final of any of the world cups. This was their first time. The game today showed us these players are human after all. Both the teams gave their very best. Both the teams came into the final undefeated and I must say the better team won. #Leadership #Strategy #CricketWorldCup

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 - 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗶 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮'𝘀 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 ( 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 - 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟮𝟰) A major worrying factor of Modi's politics is that he has framed a vicious Gujarat Model prevailing all over India successfully, that many state rulers irrespective of their ideology emulate his Model of systemic oppression. Modi Model relies on ruthless PR on his demigod status, character assassination of the opposition leaders, silencing its fierce critics with enforcement, Focus on taming citizens to obey their whims and fancies like falling in line for Demonetisation Queues, Slamming Vessels to eradicate pandemic. TN CM MK Stalin is a proponent of Dravidian Model of development. The model is just a sweet wrapper around Modi's authoritarian Model. Tamilnadu is a major worrying case of decaying Law and order and muzzling of criticism happening with state powers, suppressed by Cinema and Media propaganda. Youtuber Savukku Shankar was arrested few days back for obscene remarks about the Police force. Police have filed cases proportionately. Since such cases don't stand as valid argument for arrest, the Modi model of making the conviction process as punishment has been adopted religiously with the Cannabis case. Shankar got remanded at Jail, where he was blindfolded and hit brutally with a plastic pipe covered with cloth to make it look less lethal from the outside. Shankar's advocate has claimed the Police have fractured his right arm. The DMK's YouTube ecosystem is celebrating the occasion as its victory for muzzling independent media while the mainstream media remains silent approver of the Fascism on display. There is a systematic clampdown of critics in TN. Cyclone Michaung got poorly handled by the DMK government without even delivering the basic needs, with their ward members went on hiding, without helping people. Reporter Shabbir Ahmed from NewsMinute covered the apathy of this Government. The DMK IT wing's open threat to make Shabbir's life miserable stands as a testament to DMK's Modi model of capturing media. TN witnesses Law and order degradation, increase of crime rates, under MK Stalin's regime with the sharp increase of lockup deaths. Contrastingly, there was huge outcry over Jayaraj Bennix Lockup deaths during ADMK regime. There were few personal excesses / harassment, which never happened in ADMK regime, I have reported to Police but understood its futile in this DMK regime. For example, if I complain on petrol theft / physical harassment, they discourage as if I am riding a stolen vehicle or I should adjust my online criticisms. So, in 2030, maybe after few years decent rule, if someone thunders at a traffic signal that a Dictator should rule India, tell that somebody that Indians have had enough with these copy cat Fascists. A Cop on his mission to create dutiful citizen for no fault of his.👇 https://lnkd.in/gsVHhbxE

Life, like a game of cricket Recovery phase In cricket , we have to keep coming back to the original stance in front of the wickets to face another ball . Same is life , we have to keep coming back to our recovery phase after spending time in action and fight and flight phase . The action phase gives us stress and fight and flight gives us very high stress . Why ? What we do is we spend a lot of time in action and fight and flight phase . We have to keep coming back to recovery phase otherwise we enter exhaustion phase , responsible for diseases and unhealthy body & mind . #aohmantra Like cricket , in life we have to keep coming back to original stance ie recovery phase in order to optimise our results and save our wickets or life . Recovery phase is our mindful practices in the form of breathing , exercise , brisk morning walks , meditation, yoga and so much more . Let’s together save our wickets and optimise our results . How a small Indian inexpensive jugaad saved millions on British soldiers feet in those dreaded trenches of WorldWar I. The term “Patti” in the Indian context refers to a strip or band of cloth. During the World Wars, particularly in the trench warfare of WWI, soldiers needed durable and practical footwear that could withstand harsh conditions. The influence of Indian “Patti” or cloth bands can be seen in the puttees that were widely used by soldiers during the World Wars. Puttees were long strips of cloth that were wrapped around the lower leg over trousers to provide support and protection. This method of leg wrapping was similar to the traditional Indian practice where strips of cloth were used for leg protection and support, especially in rural areas where people worked in rugged terrains. The use of puttees in military uniforms can be traced back to the British Indian Army. The British officers observed the practicality of this method and adopted it for their soldiers. The puttees offered several advantages: they were inexpensive, provided excellent lower-leg support, protected the legs from scratches and bites in rough terrain, and could be easily replaced if damaged. During WWI, puttees became a standard part of the military uniform for many armies, including the British, French, and others. They were particularly useful in the muddy trenches, where they helped to prevent water and mud from getting into the boots. The adoption of puttees is a clear example of how Indian clothing practices influenced military attire globally during the World Wars. It demonstrates the practical exchange of ideas and adaptations that occur when different cultures interact, especially in the context of global events like the World Wars.
