How will you make an impact in this role?

Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.

As a Quality Engineer on our team, you will:

  • Develop Test Strategies, Plans and Execution Artifacts with internal and external partners
  • Build and leverage a deep understanding of the products and technology assets being tested to ensure optimal test coverag
  • Lead a team of test managers to build a high performing team, bring consistency to approaches and artifacts, and execute efficiently across initiative
  • Partner with application architects and environment operations on test infrastructure design
  • Work with software, infrastructure, and QA engineers to deliver target code quality
  • Work with Product Owners and Release Train Engineers to review test scenarios, validate test results and maintain documentation
  • Design quality metrics to be gathered, collated and reported to management. Identify patterns and opportunities from the metrics to drive innovation and improvement
  • Provide guidance to engineering teams including driving improvements in automation and testing in a Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration (CD/CI) environment
  • Identify opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in Technology, with an emphasis on QA, and confirmed ability in writing test cases, running functional, automated, or performance tests, and managing defects.
  • Experience in TDD, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing.
  • Experience in Automation Testing Tools and Technologies, RESTful APIs and Web Applications using Java, Rally, Maven, Junit, TestNG, Eclipse IDE, JMeter, Jenkins, Selenium, Shell/Perl/Python, and Sauce Labs.
  • Experience with Agile, Agile at scale (SAFe), other rapid application development methods, and Waterfall SDLC.
  • Ability to deliver in a Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Integration (CI) environment.
  • Experience with coding skills across a variety of platforms is a plus. Any of the following test certifications - QAI, ASQ, IIST, ISEB, ISTQB - are a plus.
  • Learns and applies new technologies and techniques. Keeps up to date on current research and technology in the industry.
  • Recognizes the importance of collaboration to achieve objectives. Influences team members with creative changes and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem solving and adaptive communication.
  • Ability to learn and deep dive into new technology and business domains, question status quo and think outside of the box.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, with relevant work experience.
