We're glad to share the inspiring participation of Paolo Nardi at the SECOVE Conference in the Basque Country. International mobility for Oliver Twist School children: a chance to grow, challenge and gain awareness. Young students from Cometa's Oliver Twist School had the opportunity to put themselves to the test through an international #mobility experience in Bilbao and Malta realised within the #GIVE project and made possible also thanks to IGT Italia. It was a new experience that offered a challenging opportunity to get involved, learn new skills and enrich their cultural background. They returned with a backpack full of experiences and insights to treasure and enhance. The added value of international mobility is reflected not only in the skills acquired by the students, but also in their adaptability and open-mindedness. The internships abroad enabled the students to develop a greater awareness of global dynamics, enriching their education and better preparing them for future challenges in the world of work. [ An Innovative Inclusion Experience ] We recently concluded a series of five exciting #webinars, which were attended by many stakeholders per event, including managers, trainers, educators, representatives from companies, institutions and #VET centres. These meetings offered the opportunity to explore and understand the main factors driving innovative practices to foster #inclusion in both VET and the workplace. Each session stimulated lively discussions and created key networks to analyse the transferability of these practices. We addressed multiple dimensions of inclusion, touching on topics such as #neurodiversity, inclusive international #mobility and theoretical approaches to inclusion in #education. Each webinar enriched participants with new perspectives and tools to promote a more inclusive and welcoming working and #learning environment. Make it Happen! Thank you all for participating in our #webinar on inclusive international #mobility. It was a really interesting conversation hosted by Susana Nogueira from EfVET, focusing on the MAKE IT INCLUSIVE Network. This network, created in the framework of the MAKE IT HAPPEN project, aims to bring together sending, hosting and brokering organisations across the EU, specialised in the organisation and implementation of international mobility for students with #disabilities. The aim is to promote cooperation between these organisations to make mobility more accessible and inclusive. The pilot course ‘Gender Mainstreaming: Educating for #Gender Equality and Pollinating #Feminism’, held by Lantegi Batuak, took place in Bilbao last friday.
