FP&A Director

SUMMARY:

Be responsible for leading the Financial Planning and Analyses area, including the consolidation of managerial reporting for GA Division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Corporate financial management:

• Supports the coordination of the global process of yearly Financial Planning;
• Consolidates and reports actual, forecast, and strategic long-range planning data;
• Coordinates the totality of managerial finance forums within the division;
• Leads the connection between hard finance data, the business units, and the functional areas within the organization through actionable insights; aiming to ensure consistency and alignment of deadlines and processes.

Technical leadership:

• Leads the integration of the business units into a single reporting standard by analyzing and changing the charter of accounts, cost center structures, variance analysis methods and accounting procedures;
• Leads ad-hoc specialized analysis concerning business performance through financial expertise in OPEX, CAPEX, revenue management and pricing, procurement controllership, new products introduction and eventual M&A valuations;
• Leads initiatives to improve reporting and analytical capabilities, promoting data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Special Projects:

• Manages special projects targeting critical business challenges and opportunities;
• Utilizes strategic thinking and financial expertise to identify, evaluate, and implement projects that enhance organizational growth and efficiency.

Team leadership:

• Responsible for managing the GA FP&A corporate team;
• Broad interface and leadership with regional and Platform teams inside and outside finance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

• B.A. /B.S. degree in accounting/finance is preferred but also open to Engineering and correlated quantitative backgrounds as long as with sufficient Financial background; Masters in Finance required; MBA or Second Level Masters in Finance are a plus.

Professional Experience:

• Experience in finance/controlling required;
• Experience in international setting, including experience at the global or regional HQ of an American or European publicly listed corporation is a plus;
• Experience leading FP&A teams;
• Experience in mass production organization and cost controlling.

Expertise:

• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and delegate effectively;
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency on financial modeling;
• Strong accounting knowledge;
• Strong computer skills, including high proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint to collect, model and present data. Experience with SAP, financial planning software and/or BI tool is a plus;
• Proven ability to partner with all organizations and with senior management.

Languages:

• English: fluent;
• Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese languages are an asset.
