LAYOUT & PIPING DESIGN & DRAFTING COORDINATOR

Based on the instructions provided by the Project Leader, the Layout & Piping Design & Drafting Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all layout and piping design activities within their assigned plant area, ensuring compliance with technological, technical, contractual, and economic requirements.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

• To execute the assigned design and drafting activities following the instructions given by the Project Leader.
• To develop independently Equipment layout and Piping studies according to the established work instructions;
• To check, following the applicable work instructions, the engineering drawings prepared by other Piping Engineers/Draftsmen of the team and make comments on drawings and specifications related to other disciplines which may be affected by piping activities;
• To execute 3D model design activities;
• To prepare or revise engineering drawings according to the established work instructions and job requirements;
• To act as isometric controller and flowchecker;
• To coordinate a team of Engineers in the execution of Piping design activities. Engineering center can be located in Italy or abroad.

Personal Attributes:

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, or similar technical fields, combined with an experience in Piping design of minimum 5 years. As alternative also High school diploma with 10 years work experience in piping engineering is acceptable.
• Experience in piping materials industries or Construction contractors can be evaluated.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Good knowledge of Autocad
• Good Knowledge of 3D modelling tools (Smart Plant 3D or Aveva E3D).
• Fluent English speaker and writer.
• Availability to travel in Italy and abroad.
