We are looking for a Legal Counsel -Technical Operations to join our Corporate Legal & Compliance team, based in Milan.
The goal of this role
As a Legal Counsel, you will deliver a comprehensive array of legal services, support, and guidance to the Company at a global level, with a specific focus on Global Technical Operations.
It necessitates providing timely, proactive, practical, and cost-effective advice and services that adhere to the highest legal, ethical, and professional standards.
Main Responsibilities, Activities, Duties, and Tasks:
Serve as the legal advisor for Global Technical Operations, engaging in drafting and negotiating agreements, including general terms and conditions and service agreements.
Provide legal support for engineering projects.
Offer legal counsel on matters on civil and commercial law.
Provide consultancy services for pre-litigation matters.
Conduct training sessions for Group companies on legal topics.
Draft internal procedures for the Company's management and its contracts.
Education
Law Degree.
Qualified lawyer, admitted to the Bar.
Professional Experience, Knowledge & Technical Skills
Minimum 4-5 years of experience as in-house counsel in leading industrial or service companies, preferably within the Life Science/Pharmaceutical sector, and/or in top-tier law firms. This experience should entail actively supporting the Technical Operations department, including but not limited to procurement, supply chain, engineering functions, and/or manufacturing plants.
Professional knowledge in the drafting and management of the different types of contracts needed for national and international activities.
Ability to successfully manage large-scale projects.
Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity.
Fluent in professional English.
