Within the Group Life & Health Insurance Function we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.
Our mission is to oversee the operations of Group Chief Life & Health Officer function and its specific medical underwriting activities, as well as enhance the function’s effectiveness ensuring efficient processes and bringing a coherent and 360 degrees strategic view. Within this context, the successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Group Life & Health Operations and Underwriting.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Life & Health results analysis and Top Management reporting
- Coordinate the Group Chief Life & Health Officer function reporting and monitoring
- Design and maintain rational, efficient, documented processes for the operations area of Group Chief Life & Health Officer function
- Manage the Life & Health Technical Deep Dives and Committees process, content, preparation and follow-up
- Support in the Holding portfolio management, such as technical analysis, cash flow monitoring and projections, reporting and portfolio management, including underwriting, product documentation, AML/CTF compliance
- Support in the Group and Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. Solvency II disclosure preparation (e.g. QRTs, ORSA, RSR and SFCR)
- Support in the process update of Group Life & Health policies, guidelines and technical measures in alignment with the involved Group Chief Life & Health Officer Teams
- Life & Health cross functional Projects
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance or Economics
- At least 3/5 years of working experience in insurance industry or in consulting
- Quick learner and characterized by strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to work in teams and across teams
- Capacity to synthesize and derive key insights
- Ability to navigate in grey zones with multiple senior stakeholders
- Skill to establish effective connections within the organization
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility and problem solving oriented
- Project management skills
- English working proficiency
Nice to have:
- Programming skills
- Knowledge of Generali Group is considered a plus
