The Vortex Flowmeter VY series now supports the Modbus RTU digital communication protocol. The combination of the VY with controllers and recorders, such as the Edge Controller FA-M3 / e-RT3 Plus and Modular Data Logger GM10, enables a wide range of connections to small control or monitoring systems. This system utilize VY for ideal steam flow measurement to improves the efficiency of utility lines. Additionally, Modbus RTU allows the VY to transfer data accurately. Temperature monitoring throughout large plants without blank areas is difficult due to technical and cost issues and it is hard to comply with corporate HSE policies. DTSX measures temperature distribution over the length of an optical fiber cable using the fiber itself as the sensing element and it is ideal for temperature monitoring over long distances and wide areas.
