This month we have been very fortunate to receive several certificates and awards! This time we would like to inform you about our participation in the Green Office Program of Pasaules Dabas Fonds (associated partner to WWF).🍀🏢 We prioritize not just the well-being of our employees, but also the health of the environment we share and the future we build together. Economic and social factors aren't the only ones shaping tomorrow; environmental responsibility and climate action are equally crucial. That's why we're committed to minimizing our environmental footprint and empowering our employees to do the same. 🌍 One of the major milestones in this journey was our move to a new, energy-efficient building at Elemental Business Centre, significantly reducing our energy consumption. Next, we embarked on a journey towards Green Office certification by the Pasaules Dabas Fonds (associated partner to WWF). This involved a comprehensive audit to ensure we met their sustainability guidelines. And now, we're proud to announce that we've successfully passed the audit and are now a certified Green Office! 🎉👏   The WWF provided valuable recommendations, and we're committed to implementing them. We'll continue optimizing our internal practices for environmental friendliness and keep our employees informed and engaged in this ongoing effort. At Arvato Systems Latvia and Estonia, we're all about continuous learning and growth. 📚 That's why we recently hosted a company wide training session on the power of feedback, led by Marta Karlsone an organizational psychologist and FranklinCovey Latvia facilitator. 🗣️ We learned how to prepare for giving, receiving and even asking for feedback effectively. 🔎 Explored different methods and approaches to ensure your feedback is clear, concise, and constructive. 💡 And discovered the importance of "après-feedback" - how to follow up, implement, and react to feedback for maximum impact. Effective feedback is a cornerstone of professional development. It helps us identify our strengths, address areas for improvement, and ultimately reach our full potential, together! 💪🏻 Thanks to Marta guiding us on this journey! We're now better equipped to provide and receive constructive feedback, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment where everyone thrives. ✨🙌🏼

Arvato Systems Latvia participated in the Elemental Business Centre organized blood donation activity in honor of World Blood Donor Day - June 14! 🩸 We are incredibly proud of everyone who stepped up to donate. 🙌🏼 Thank you Elemental Business Centre for organizing this opportunity and to all our colleagues (also the ones behind the pictures) who took part to make a positive impact on our society! 🌎✨

🔍 Beyond delivering for our clients, we're committed to giving back to the IT community. This year, Edgars Biezaitis, DevOps Delivery Manager and Sanita Litinska, DevOps Engineer joined lecturers of Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University), one of the leading Latvian university, to teach "Introduction to DevOps Methodology and Tools." This course equips students with the knowledge they need to succeed, covering both theory and practical tools used by DevOps professionals daily. With 87 students – a mix of undergraduates and master's students – Edgars and Sanita are shaping the future of IT. 🍀🌍🤝 Here at Arvato Systems Latvia, we're proud to have colleagues passionate about knowledge sharing. We're proud to have participated in the 16th annual Big Clean-Up Day in Latvia! 🌍🧹 This nationwide movement is all about environmental improvement and community spirit, and we couldn't miss it. This year, our team and their families joined our friends at Labās Mājas Animal Shelter. 🐾 We spent the day cleaning up their indoor and outdoor areas, while also sprucing up the Jugla Forest nearby. ✨ It was a fantastic way to help the animals, improve their environment, and contribute to a greener tomorrow, and also a great chance to bond with colleagues and spend some quality time outdoors with our loved ones! 🫶🌞 We believe in a sustainable future, and this was a perfect opportunity to make a difference for Labās mājas and the surrounding nature. 🍀

Last round of Insights Discovery workshops here at Arvato Systems Latvia! 🤩 Now, the Senior and Middle Management team, along with the Business Support team colleagues, are more self-aware and aware of the people around them. This knowledge also lays the foundation for improved team effectiveness 👏 As in all job relationships, we've experienced some struggles and miscommunications. By applying the knowledge we have gained about how different we are and how we each have our own perception of the world, we believe that we can overcome upcoming challenges with a more mindful approach and grow stronger as a team ✨ Thank you Marijan Subotić for teaching us!
