Here at Centrient, we're committed to being a sustainable leader in the generics pharmaceuticals space. That's because thinking and acting sustainably is a key pillar of our purpose to improve lives through innovative and sustainable manufacturing of medicines. We channel this approach through our ESG Ambition 2021-2030. Our recently published Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report provides an update on the steps we're taking to realise this ambition and support the health and wellbeing of people and the environment. The report is packed full of information, but here are some of the key highlights from our ESG activities over the past two years: • Environmental: 5% reduction in GHG emissions and new targets submitted to SBTi • Environmental: 97% of waste repurposed and 10% reduction in water consumption • Social: facilitated 1.5 billion patient treatments globally in 2023 • Social: progress on DEI, including 30% of senior management roles held by women • Governance: maintaining our EcoVadis Gold rating • Governance: completing a company-wide human rights impact assessment All this and more in the report here: https://lnkd.in/gvXGRYFg

As part of our ESG Ambition 2021-2030, we are committed to establishing a high level of employee engagement, aiming to be a leader in the top 10% of our industry by 2025. Conducting an employee engagement survey every two years is integral to this vision, as it helps us create an inclusive environment for our employees. Our Innovation and Technology Development (I&TD) team recently held its annual team retreat, bringing employees together from different departments. At Centrient, we don’t just create solutions; we impact lives globally. Our talented people work tirelessly to develop foundational medicines through innovative and sustainable means. Colleagues in our Delft and Rijswijk offices in the Netherlands recently participated in our annual community action event, in collaboration with Stichting Present Delft, a non-profit dedicated to assisting those in need. Our employees had the privilege of volunteering at a residential care center, engaging in either practical, hands-on activities, or social activities. Some of our team members sanded down and varnished chairs in the center's garden, to make the environment more pleasant for residents. Others spent time walking with wheelchair-dependent residents or creating fun self-portraits together. All in all, we were happy to bring smiles to the residents' faces and contribute to activities that benefitted the local community. A heartfelt thank you to Helma Sollie and the entire team at Stichting Present Delft for their efforts in supporting our communities. We also extend our gratitude to all the employees who participated in this event. Let's continue making a positive impact together!

We held our 11th #WomenofCentrient global network session with seasoned corporate executive Jean T.F. Hooks. Jean shared her insights on the topic of 'unconventional leadership,' exploring how taking a non-traditional career path helped her face unpredictable challenges in the corporate world and beyond. Jean walked us through a framework to help us think about potential career paths, pointed out important leadership competencies, and shared tips on helping us manage ourselves in our professional lives. She concluded the session with a thought-provoking quote from Charles Darwin, stressing the importance of growth and development. "It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change." From June 4th to June 6th, Centrient Pharmaceuticals participated in the FCE Pharma exhibition in São Paulo, Brazil - one of the largest meetings of the pharmaceutical industry in Latin America. Many of our colleagues had the opportunity to connect with valued customers, sharing experiences and market developments with the aim of continuously improving patients' lives. We thank our colleagues Dr. Aditi Sharma, Robin N. Koenig, Fernando Hernández, and Victor Zamora for attending this successful event, supporting our purpose of improving lives through the innovative and sustainable manufacturing of medicines.
