☀️ It's about focusing on what's important ☀️ As I often emphasize, focus is crucial! To chase the truly important tasks and topics, you need to train your awareness. Without it, you risk getting lost in the noise of daily distractions, forgetting what truly matters. Here’s how I put this into practice. In my daily routine, I prioritize tasks that align with my long-term goals. For me it's not just about being busy; it’s about being effective. I identify my priorities by asking myself: What are the things I need to accomplish today that will bring me closer to my goals? This helps me filter out non-essential tasks. Furthermore I allocate my focus. I create uninterrupted time blocks for my important tasks. During these periods, I eliminate distractions (like no emails, no phone calls, no social media). To stay inspired and ensure I’m focusing on the right things, I regularly step back and reflect. Changing my environment, such as the trip to Spain I took or a walk in Vondelpark next to our office, brings fresh perspectives. Finally, I hold myself accountable by reviewing my progress weekly, adjusting my focus as needed. This self-review process keeps me aligned with my goals. How do you ensure you’re focusing on what truly matters? For me it is not just about doing more, it’s about doing what’s important. Want to learn more about how to focus.
