Our Customer Engagement team plays a crucial role in this. Here you will work at the heart of all customer-oriented departments that Polestar has. This means that you will have valuable interactions with our customers and also with third parties that represent Polestar. All with the aim of providing our customers with the right information, so that they can drive and continue to drive their Polestar with complete satisfaction. You can also make a nice statement to anyone who asks where you are making a career, simply by pointing out a passing Polestar on the street. That says more than a thousand words.

Your contribution to Polestar

As a Customer Engagement Specialist you play a key role in creating the best functioning and most customer-oriented system within the automotive industry. Everything to offer Polestar drivers the most pleasant experience possible. You are the primary contact for Polestar customers, which includes the following responsibilities;

  • You communicate by telephone, chat, e-mail and you handle information requests from the website. We have a mix of inbound and outbound customer contacts, focused on service and support in the purchasing process.
  • You advise and guide potential customers through the online purchasing process of their Polestar, so that they know what to think about and what to expect. We do this based on a 'help to buy' approach.
  • You solve issues for future customers and existing customers.

For example, you may end up in a conversation where someone has questions about the ordering procedure, is looking for information to make a decision, or needs support in using their Polestar car. Our systems and the high level of knowledge of the team help you to provide the right solution.

During your first weeks at Polestar, you will start in our onboarding program for new employees. Here you will gain knowledge about your position, about your team and about Polestar. After completing your onboarding, we aim to continuously develop and challenge you.

Who We Are Looking For

We are especially looking for someone who enjoys helping customers and meeting their information needs, with a genuine motivation to provide world-class service. We will give you all the tools you need to be successful in your role as a Customer Engagement Specialist.

The best indication to find out whether you will like this job? You are an excellent listener, able to get to the heart of someone's question. Your communication skills are topnotch and you can involve customers in our brand experience. You have a flexible and practical attitude to finding a solution, and you remain stress-free due to your time management skills. It is also important that you understand that a team can only be successful if you are a team player. In our way of working, in which we attach great value to self-organization, collaboration and communication are essential skills. In addition, we are enthusiastic about your input and energy in further developing our approach.

To be successful in this role, we also ask for the following:

  • You have completed an education at MBO+ level and excellent communication skills (spoken and written) in Dutch and English.
  • You bring at least one year of experience in a Customer Service environment.
  • You have good digital skills and are able to quickly master new systems.

Our team works from the Polestar office in Beesd, less than half an hour's drive from Utrecht and about twenty minutes from Den Bosch. The Customer Engagement Center opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Partially working from home is possible. This position is open for 32 or 40 hours per week. We will choose the most suitable start date in consultation.
