Our client is part of an owner-managed, medium-sized group of companies in the packaging industry. Packaging materials made of corrugated cardboard are manufactured in various state-of-the-art production plants. These products are mainly made from waste paper from the circular economy - an important aspect in terms of environmental protection. The Group is very successfully established in the relevant markets and is on a clear growth path. Significant investments in the production sites - particularly with regard to environmental protection and sustainability - also ensure future success in the market.
The Group's customers include many of the top branded goods companies in Germany and Europe - both in the food and beverage industry and in the non-food consumer goods industry.
At the earliest possible date and to strengthen the existing sales team, we are looking for the
In this role, you will be fully responsible for ‘your’ customer area - existing customers as well as new customers to be acquired by you in the future; new customer acquisition is the main focus of this responsibility. In this role, you will report directly to the company's sales management.
Your main responsibilities:
You will have full sales and revenue responsibility for your sales territory with a high degree of freedom, taking into account the framework conditions defined together with the sales manager
Taking into account the market and competition analyses you are responsible for, you will acquire new customers step by step and sustainably increase sales and earnings with existing customers
The focus is not only on the ‘corrugated board packaging’ product portfolio, but of course also on a service concept tailored to the customer's needs
You will work closely with the excellently trained and highly motivated team in internal sales, the development department, production and logistics
Your experience & knowledge:
Successfully completed commercial or technical training - ideally, of course, with a focus on ‘printing and/or paper, packaging or other packaging materials’
Several years of experience in field sales in a packaging company with a focus on ‘corrugated board’ - this experience is very much important
You are proficient in a common IT user system and the MS Office package and are adept at using familiar presentation techniques
You have very good written and spoken German and Dutch language skills
A valid car driving licence is of course a prerequisite
Your personality:
You are an open, communicative and goal-orientated type and work with great passion and a strong ability to close deals
You are characterised by a high level of commitment and resilience as well as reliability, a sense of responsibility and flexibility
You work in a structured, organised and very independent manner
Overall, you are a committed and self-confident type of salesperson
