We are currently looking for a Raw Materials Planner

To Monitor current raw material stock holding levels against customer forecasts and orders, working with production to schedule Packhouse volumes. Liaising with growers and supplier to schedule requirements 13 weeks ahead

• Managing the flow of materials from ordering with growers to delivery at the back door
• Being the link between buyer and growers – ensuring ongoing, strong relationships are built and maintained
• Ordering freight and ensuring this remains within budget
• Placing orders with growers for next 1-3 weeks after confirmed purchase orders
• Responsible for 3-12 week rolling forecasts by grower and by source and maintaining tracking of orders to completion
• Responsible for placing inbound freight orders with sea freight, air freight and road haulage
• Updating confirmed consignment purchase orders from growers
• Where there are gaps in supply, you will be responsible to fill gaps by working with current suppliers and the buying team
• Forward projections on air freight, road haulage and sea freight to ensure proper strategy is in place for future customer orders
