Job Description:

For an international client, we are looking for several experienced GCP Data Engineers to work on several existing and upcoming projects. This role requires a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, data architecture, and best practices in data engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP to process and analyze large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Implement best practices for data storage, processing, and retrieval using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, etc
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with data scientists, marketers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of data pipelines and systems through monitoring and maintenance.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve the efficiency of data processing workflows.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proven experience with GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
