The Global Starter Material Logistics Coordinator at Syngenta is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by managing inquiries, orders, and services in alignment with the company's commercial policy and service standards. The role involves creating necessary documents for shipping starter material goods, monitoring order progress, and addressing supply chain issues. Key duties include managing customer orders accurately, resolving issues through direct communication with customers and account managers, and maintaining service levels within the supply chain. The specialist will also process information in SAP, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with other departments.

The Challenge

This position requires adherence to Syngenta's code of conduct and internal policies, particularly regarding international law and shipment regulations. The specialist must handle unconfirmed order lines, manage shortages, and respond promptly to inquiries from customers and sales representatives. Additional responsibilities include handling document creation and permits for shipments, managing sample requests, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods by providing necessary documentation.

Qualifications

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in administration, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and fluency in English. Experience in customer service or order fulfillment, particularly with SAP and Microsoft Office, is preferred. The role demands strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, a positive and team-oriented mindset, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The specialist should also be able to quickly gain product and customer knowledge, think analytically, and maintain a process-oriented approach to tasks. The ability to engage and inspire colleagues, collaborate effectively, and execute tasks with a focus on results is essential.
