A Japanese chemical manufacturer in Rotterdam / Botlek in The Netherlands is currently searching for a Supply Chain Coordinator.

In this role, you will be the part of the admin division responsible for setting the stage on production, inventory coordination, and processes and execution from source till sales.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Supply chain position or a similar field.

TYPE: Full-time, initially 1 year contract (There is potential for extension)

WORKING HOURS: 8:00-16:30 from Monday to Friday (including 30 min. break), 40 hours per week

SALARY: €50-70k depending on experience (including 8% of holiday allowance and 13th month bonus)

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Rotterdam / Botlek, The Netherlands (Currently 3 days in the office, 2 days’ work from home – It may change depending on the company’s decision.)

Supply Chain Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Prepare and implementing processes, purchasing & production plan, inventory management, logistics and other activities

• Prepare and set expectations for sellers with their salles offices

• Support documentation related to in and outgoing movements

• Take care, execute and keep track of the day-to-day stock levels, production plan, scheduled orders, shipping schedule and keep updated on logistics routes

• Identify, control and analyse regular inventory of raw materials and/or finished MXDA

• Make sure that the regular MXDA-production line achieve their operational high-quality performance and targets

• Collaborate with other departments such as Sales offices in Germany, USA and Head office in Tokyo Japan, Production, SHEQ, Finance & Accounting, 3rd parties to create effective production plans and execution

• Prepare, organize and check at the Plant and 3rd party suppliers, transportation and logistics routes while combining shipments where possible

• Analyse data from shipping, logistics and delivery processes to prevent bottlenecks and other issues

• Support safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. loading, unloading, and use of related Plant facilities inside their site)

• Safe guarding quality, production and order execution with pro-actively identifying challenges and create solutions with stakeholders internal and external

Supply Chain Coordinator Ideal Candidate:

• HBO- or HEAO diploma (in Logistics or Supply Chain or a similar field are preferred)

• Proven track record of at least 3 years in a Supply chain position or in a similar field

• Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes

• Knowledge of import /export documentations

• Pro-active mindset, strong communication skills, attention to detail & analytical thinking

• service and creative problem-solving attitude

• Able to prioritize, adapt to changes, understand urgency and when to escalate

• Team work skills are important

• Good skills and knowledge of MS Office

• Good skills in ERP software are preferred

• Well-developed communication skills in English (spoken and written) is a must
