Underwriter

On behalf of our client, a leader in the M&A insurance market, we are seeking a commercially-minded M&A Underwriter to join their Amsterdam-based team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary package and hybrid working conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with senior underwriters to evaluate, quote, and execute insurance policies for Benelux deals.
• Engage with sophisticated legal and commercial advisors and clients to draft and negotiate legal and commercial documents.
• Conduct thorough analysis and due diligence for M&A transactions.

Requirements:

• Background: Lawyer or M&A professional seeking a transition to a more commercial and entrepreneurial environment.
• Between 3-6 years relevant experience at an international law firm or a consultancy.
• Skills: Proficient in drafting legal and commercial documents; strong negotiation skills.
• Fluent both in Dutch and English.
