Are you vulnerable to spoofing attacks?   Spoofing is a common cyber threat where attackers disguise themselves as a trusted entity to deceive and steal sensitive information. This could be through emails, phone calls, or even websites, and it's a growing concern in our digital age.   At Telia, we're committed to your cybersecurity. Here are some practical tips to safeguard yourself against spoofing attacks:   1. Do not return a missed call from an unknown number (especially from abroad).   2. Be careful about open Wi-Fi networks and what you share while connected.   3. Never share sensitive information, such as card details, passwords or codes.   4. Make sure to use complex passwords, change them frequently and enable two-step verification.   5. We're proud to share some great progress Telia is making in sustainability! 🌍 Since 2019, we've implemented an innovative method to drive impactful change across our supply chain. With over 90% of our emissions stemming from our supply chain, this area is crucial for achieving our net-zero target by 2040. Our approach involves classifying our suppliers on a maturity ladder from 0-7, with higher levels for those committed to CO2 targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative. Since 2021, our Supplier Code of Conduct has required science-based climate targets, ensuring we hold ourselves and our partners to the highest standards. Currently 55% of our suppliers, in terms of emissions, have set Science Based Targets, and our goal is to reach 72% by end of 2025. Telia continues to actively participate in the battle against online child sexual abuse. This battle is a societal challenge which requires the collective efforts of diverse stakeholders. To foster collaboration, today Sofia Donner, a legal expert on AI, participated in the Stella Polaris Summit, organized by World Childhood Foundation, to discuss AI's role in combating child sexual abuse. She says: “At Telia we have worked to use technology to protect children against child sexual abuse online for more than 20 years. It is natural that we also evaluate how AI can be used for this purpose as well and how we can contribute to collaborations like Stella Polaris.”    Telia is a founding partner of World Childhood Foundation, an organization working to prevent child sexual abuse. Exciting advancements in forestry tech! 🌳 Recently, we remotely controlled a forestry machine in a forest outside Västerås, Sweden with limited coverage, using a drone equipped with 5G technology to extend mobile coverage. This test, part of a collaborative project with Mittuniversitetet, Ericsson, Skogforsk, SCA, Volvo CE, and Biometria, demonstrated the power of 5G in transforming remote operations. During the test, the drone created a coverage area extending up to 3 kilometers, allowing the forestry machine to be operated from Skogforsk’s remote control lab in Uppsala, 80 kilometers away. Our goal is to use this technology to improve operational efficiency and safety across various industries, including forestry and agriculture.
