Last week was an exhilarating one for our Asia New College Graduate Ambassador Program! Over 40 enthusiastic New College Graduates (NCGs) from India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore dove into a variety of activities, from fascinating lab tours and career-boosting workshops to dynamic and insightful discussions. They gained invaluable knowledge and explored exciting paths in technology, R&D, leadership, and people management, all while engaging with our vibrant Applied communities.   During our 5-day program, we were honored to host distinguished guest Dr. Condoleezza Rice, former United States Secretary of State, who shared her inspiring leadership journey with our NCGs. Going strong toward our Singapore 2030 plan! Our President and CEO Gary Dickerson recently spoke with The Straits Times about Applied Materials’ plans to further grow the next-generation chip technologies through expanding manufacturing and R&D activities in Singapore in the coming years.    With the accelerating demand for faster, efficient, and more complex chips, the future of the #semiconductor industry is brimming with potential. The journey toward that? Incredibly complex. Each tiny chip contains 15 billion transistors, 100 kilometers of wiring, and over 100 material combinations, and makes state-of-the-art technology possible. This year marks our 33rd anniversary for Applied Materials South East Asia, and we commemorated this milestone with a bang! We were honored to have our CEO Gary Dickerson and members of our Executive Team Tristan Holtam and Om Nalamasu join us in Singapore for this special occasion.
