In Stellar Blade, Earth is a post-apocalyptic wasteland and humans have fled to a colony in space. Players take command of protagonist Eve, and are sent to defeat horrific monsters and reclaim humanity's lost home. Our artists at Virtuos Shanghai supported the making of the level art, modelling, and level dressing of this visual masterpiece by SHIFT UP Corporation. Did you know it's Guinea Pig Appreciation Day today? 🐹 We're shining the spotlight on Alina Obukhovska, our resident guinea pig enthusiast! Alina, our Account Director at VOLMI - A Virtuos Studio, is the life of the party who brightens any room she walks into, much like her adorable crew, Businka, Bulka, Leva, and Semyon! Alina shares, "My journey with guinea pigs started with just one piggy, Businka. After a month, I noticed she was gaining weight, so I implemented evening exercises for her, like running for parsley and jumping for cucumber. But one day, I came home from a walk, picked her up, and noticed she was suddenly very slim. Then I heard sounds and saw little piggies! It turns out, I had been exercising a pregnant Businka, who did well and delivered beautiful babies that we rehomed in good families. I really enjoy taking care of them, and they're very loving animals." Share your guinea pig stories with us in the comments below! #GuineaPigAppreciationDay

As gaming becomes more mainstream, there has been a growing movement among developers who are using games as a medium to highlight environmental and social issues. However, game production itself is inherently energy-intensive, from the mining of materials for hardware to the electricity required to power software. To combat this, several gaming companies including Virtuos have made concrete efforts to grow their businesses sustainably. As a service provider, our key environment impact at Virtuos is tied to our electricity consumption across offices worldwide. As such, we've committed ourselves to achieving 100% renewable energy source by 2025, on top of an annual carbon neutrality target.
