Users writing in Japanese and Korean are occasionally unable to type any characters.

Issue summary:
On May 8, 2024 at 12:00 PM PDT until May 28, 2024 at 9:51 AM PDT, some customers were unable to type in Japanese or Korean in the Slack for Windows app.

We traced these issues to a bug with an upstream provider. The upstream provider released a patch for this bug, so we prepared a Slack app update that implemented this patch. This app update resolved the issue for all affected customers.

We started to roll out an update for the Windows app that will resolve this issue.

Please update your app version to 4.38.127 to fetch the fix.
