  • $\begingroup$ As an aside when you are looking at a paper abstract on IEEE Xplore, check the "Citation" tab to see which papers are more recent, that cited the older paper. $\endgroup$ Commented Jan 24, 2016 at 15:47
  • $\begingroup$ Interestingly, what this means is that solar electric generators that do not use this method would more likely to not be affected. I am, quite honestly, very surprised no one has sent up a selection of different solar electric chemistries to test. It would not be expensive, and could even be in cube sat form. $\endgroup$
