Specializing in Web Development, Software Engineering, and Content Engineering
I write articles on software engineering as well as content engineering on this website.
Many of the posts you’ll encounter are search engine optimized using SEMrush as well as Google Search Console.
Everything I’m doing on this website is backed by research and raw numbers and pages are all designed to rank (sometimes they do right away, sometimes they don’t, and sometimes they require some modification in order to get the results that I’m looking for).
I also pay particular attention to Technical SEO as well — this is a subject that overlaps heavily with software development and performance engineering and something that I am fairly good at, in my opinion.
You’ll also come across a multitude of content experiments — these often explore one or more SEO concepts that I’m working with.
If you have questions about what I’m doing here, I encourage you to schedule an appointment with me and we can go over some of the details around this subject and I’ll answer any questions you may have.
Other services I offer include WordPress SEO Consulting.
Cross-Posting Opportunities
Articles I’ve published here may also be cross-posted to dev.to, medium.com, hashnode.com, and dzone.com.
Content reuse is an important aspect of content engineering and can help bring one’s content to a very large audience without any SEO being required.
I am always looking for opportunities to reuse content so expect this list have new additions added to it in due course.

Software Engineering and Software Architecture Articles and Projects
I have been developing software professionally since around 1998 and have a focus on web technologies, software engineering, software architecture, data engineering, performance engineering, and cloud computing with a focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS) as well as Digital Ocean, and Kubernetes.
The following posts discuss several data integration projects that I’ve released including:
- JDataFrame API: Convert a Java data model into an R data frame in minutes using this framework which is designed to be embedded in R Script. The source code for the JDataFrame API project is available in Bitbucket.
- R COBOL Data Integration API — there’s an incredible amount of data in COBOL data files — wouldn’t it be great if we could load COBOL CopyBook files into the R Project for Statistical Computing as properly structured data frames? The R COBOL Data Integration package project dies exactly this and is available on GitHub, the R package can be installed directly from my drat repository, and finally, there is an R COBOL Data Integration docker image available in DockerHub for users who want to work with the R COBOL Data Integration package in the R Project For Statistical Computing without setting up a new environment.
See also my article on COBOL Copybooks.
I have been involved in developing software in one form or another on the Amazon Web Services platform since around the time AWS became publicly available in 2006.
I’ve written several articles focusing on AWS on topics such as AWS Cost Allocation Tags, AWS Budgets, Alarms, SSO, and Anomaly Detection, as well as answering what the purpose of a cost allocation tag is in AWS.
I have several articles that focus on the Java programming language, APIs, and middleware.
Performance engineering, website performance optimization, and Technical SEO (in particular as it applies to website speed) are investments that can positively improve the user experience of a web application as well as lower the cost of running your applications on AWS and other cloud platforms.
