Epilepsy can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or nationality. It's one of the most prevalent serious neurological conditions, with repeated seizures that can dramatically impact lives. Our London team is proud to support the Epilepsy Society x The Amelia Roberts Fund as our charity of the year. Learn more about Amelia and the incredible dedication of her parents, Hamish and Debbie, who are tirelessly raising awareness and funds for epilepsy research. Before she died, Amelia had signed up to donate her brain for research at the Epilepsy Society Brain and Tissue Bank to help their scientists discover more about the causes of epilepsy. Her parents, Hamish and Debbie have shared their story in our BBC Lifeline Appeal, and hope that by sharing their story and inspiring people to watch the film and donate to our research, other families in the future will not have to go through similar heartbreak. Sudden death in epilepsy is a key area of research for us. With continued support we hope to halve epilepsy deaths over the next ten years.
