It has been almost a week since the Polish Business Link and HSBC Sustainability Business Forum and we are still discussing it. 1️⃣ Firstly: it was brilliantly organised and delivered by Bart Kowalczyk, Zaneta Mendel and Swati Krishnamurthy and her team. 2️⃣ Secondly: the speakers had interesting things to say! Rufus Ballaster, the keynote speaker who has defied the traditional perception of lawyers, started the discussion about the changes at Carter Lemon Camerons LLP and how the firm is becoming more sustainable. He then led the floor discussion on the subject. Matthew Bell shared HSBC’s sustainability strategy. Amit S. ensured that all the panellists- Paul Sheedy, Tanya Popeau, Nicky Sinker, Ketan Dattani BSc (Hons), MSc, MIRP, MREC, CertRP, Adam Pilanc, Prince Oyekan, Lukasz Urbaniak- had a chance to share their views and ideas. Richard Lucas engaged all the attending in talking about sustainability. 3️⃣ Thirdly: the attendees, nearly 100 business owners came together to learn, discuss and network. It was great to catch up with Jarmila Entezari, Karl Konicz MSyI MIoD, Rafal Sykut, Inga Kopala Edyta Krakowiak, Andy Kowalski, Anna Magryta-Urban, Eloise Leeson-Smith, ★Tomasz Goslar Konrad Major, Emmanuel MBA LLB ACSI Nkwenti , Raj Yadav, Amanda Alexander - LLB/MATVJ , Wojtek Kolodziejczak and many many more. 4️⃣ And finally... the subject. Everyone attending appreciated how important increasing #sustainability is. We talked about the changes we are making in our every day lives. To make a difference, we need to up our game. Some of us pledged to change more. I have pledged not to add to the wardrobe this year. What pledge have you made? 😊 🌍 🌳
