One of life’s great levellers is that we all have the same 24 hours each day. A quote that someone shared with me recently is: “You have the same amount of hours in a day as Beyoncé.” While true, this overlooks that Beyoncé has a team of people and substantial support, starting from a young age with her family. Many Elevate participants tell us they don’t have anyone to delegate to and can’t bring their families to work! 😊 Therefore, it's even more essential to optimise our time and achieve the right results. Mastering #timemanagement empowers us to maximise #productivity and reach our #goals, regardless of the obstacles. Read the article here: https://lnkd.in/eqCZXe8U #ElevateTalent #ElevateMe

You can read the full interview here: Q1: What inspired you to write this book, and how does its message resonate with today's challenges? The inspiration for this book springs from many sources. First are the incredible women who have been part of Elevate over the years. During countless sessions, as we shared recommended reads and resonant quotes, a recurring sentiment echoed back: "You should write a book." Equally motivating was the unwavering support and insightful feedback from the Elevate team. Their encouragement has been a cornerstone of this journey. The final spark that truly ignited this project came from my daughter and her friends. Over the years, my daughter often shared how her friends found my advice invaluable. Their appreciation and trust gave me the final push to bring this book to life.  If the tips I shared resonated so deeply with Millennials, then what I have to offer is undoubtedly still very relevant today. Q2: What do you believe sets your book apart and makes it a must-read for audiences? What sets this book apart is my unique #perspective from experiencing both sides of the coin. I've been there, done that, and worn the proverbial t-shirt. Throughout my extensive career in banking, I was often the lone female in the room, starting as the lowest-ranking junior in teams dominated by senior male colleagues, and late in my career the sole senior woman. The strategies and insights I share in this book are not theoretical; they are tried and tested from my own journey. But you might wonder if these strategies work only for me. The answer is a resounding no. Over the past 15 years, I've coached countless senior women, witnessing firsthand how universally effective these approaches are. Each of these incredible women put their own unique spin on the strategies, making them even more powerful. I’ve deliberately crafted this book to be adaptable, allowing you to make it your own and succeed on your terms. Q3: How do you envision your book making an #impact in its readers' lives, and what outcomes do you hope to see as a result of this book? I wanted this book to provide readers with a roadmap to achieving #epiccareer success by tapping into their inner superpowers. Furthermore, the 21st century demands a new #leadership model, and this book delivers exactly that. While it is specifically written for women, I firmly believe men will also gain immense value from its insights. You can get your book here: https://lnkd.in/eB7Q4X52 #FindingYourEpic

🔸 Answer from Elevate's Founder, Jacqueline Frost: When you are in a situation where there is no one to delegate tasks to, it can add a significant challenge to managing your workload. This scenario is common for those early in their #careers or individual contributors. Here are some strategies to help you handle everything yourself effectively: Prepare #TimeManagement Matrix: Use the time management matrix to rank tasks by urgency and importance. Focus on tasks in Quadrants I (urgent and important) and II (important but not urgent). Prioritise Value Assessment: Ask yourself if a task is a $10, $100, or $1000 task. This helps you focus on tasks with the most significant impact. For $10 tasks, determine if they are "must-do" or "nice-to-do." Set time limits for those $10 must-do tasks and complete them quickly. Protect Guard Your Time: Ensure you are not taking on tasks that others are trying to offload. Be clear about your #priorities and #boundaries to avoid being overwhelmed by others' workloads. These strategies will help you manage your performance more effectively even when you can't delegate. #ElevateMe #ElevateTalent
