Delivering complimentary fitness to communities across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough no matter the barriers.

About us

Our mission is to continually provide wellness solutions to individuals, families and communities who typically do not receive health and well-being support due to location, financial issues, or other limiting factors. We are focused on providing tailored training, advice and support to our community using a state-of-the-art mobile fitness facility capable of visiting those who prefer to exercise in privacy away from busier environments. Activities provided through our mobile gym will encourage marginalised people and communities to develop physical health, mental wellbeing, confidence, fitness and social interaction by improving access to guided physical activity. By taking the gym to people, we will help alleviate anxiety, concern and worry from those who may otherwise not attend a traditional gym.

  • ✨️It's official✨️ Fitness Rush have been privileged to be a part of one of the most amazing transformations ever seen 😲 It all started 8 months ago at the C3 Centre in Cambridge when we met an individual named Catherine. Catherine joined one of our tailored exercise and fitness qualification initiatives after seeing our flyer at the church during a weekly service. It was quickly clear that Catherine had a unique empathetic skill set that gives her the ability to engage and encourage individuals to reach their full potentials 💪❤️ During her level 1 qualification practical assessment, assessor and our founder Liam Rushmer noticed these abilities and immediately began to develop plans of how to integrate Catherine into the Fitness Rush Community organisation. Within weeks Liam had personally funded a combined personal training diploma and started working with Catherine to develop her delivery skills. To delve a little deeper into Catherine's life, we need to look back over nearly 15 years of domestic violence, substance abuse, homelessness leading to mental ill health disabilities and long-term trauma. Now 8 and half months completely sober from drugs and alcohol, there is only one direction Catherine is travelling and that is up ⬆️ Catherine explained how this opportunity provided the chance to create a new pathway in life and ensure that her hardship hasn't been a wasted experience by using her knowledge to help others in a similar position. 👉Today marks a special occasion🎉🎊 Catherine is now officially a fully qualified professional trainer and is excited to use her experiences to help her clients and participants reach their full potential too 😀 Next steps are to focus on those experiencing similar stories to give them the same opportunity She has found 🙏 Partnerships with Probation Services, Community Hubs, Council's and other social networks are all a part of the Fitness Rush developmental planning, and gives others the same chance to use fitness as a tool to improve mental and physical well-being, alongside calving future career pathways. Fitness Rush currently have 10 fully funded places to give unemployed individuals the chance to find a meaningful purpose in life and support others in the same position. If you would like to get involved or become one of Catherine's first clients in our private training facility in Old Hurst, please comment "I'M IN" below to receive more information 👇💬📲 Congratulations Catherine - YOU DID IT 🙌 #superstar #career #employment #fitnessrush #community

  • As a Community Interest Company, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to use exercise as a tool to improve their mental and physical health 👉😀. We have already made groundbreaking changes in the fitness industry with our complimentary community exercise initiatives throughout Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, but are now in need of our next facility to increase the reach across East Anglia and eventually nationwide 🌍. Our Go Fund Me page gives individuals, companies and authorities the chance to donate funds to aid us in the delivery of Free Fitness to various groups, including; homelessness, financially deprived, disabilities, neurodiverse, NEET children, ex-offenders, older adults and more, with the aim of reducing life-limiting health conditions, improving overall wellbeing and increasing social connections 🫂. Yes the target is BIG, but so are the outcomes that our services provide. Thank you for taking the time to read our post and for any donations you feel comfortable making 🙏. https://gofund.me/d4d1eff6 #Community #gofundme #donate #lifechanging #fitnessrush
