Will Wang, Partner of Generative Ventures, emphasized the interest rates for overcollateralized loans within the #cryptocurrency market are relatively low, including #stablecoins with rates as low as two to three percent currently. This is an intriguing observation, as #traditional financial markets typically offer interest rates and borrowing costs of around five percent or even higher. This interest rate differential raises questions about the profitability of borrowing funds within the #crypto market to invest in higher-yield products elsewhere. He also mentions the importance of onboarding a variety of high-quality off-chain assets to make them available for use in the cryptocurrency space, as there is a need to diversify the available #assets.
