45 colleagues from the ICG London office recently completed the J.P.Morgan Corporate Challenge! 🏃 The event consisted of running 5.6km around Battersea Park for a charitable cause, which was no easy feat. ICG’s participation in the event was organised by its brand new Thrive Network, who aim to ensure all employees thrive at work by promoting a culture of health, wellness and inclusion. From the moment the team arrived, they were buzzing with excitement and unified by the spirit of camaraderie. The team’s performance was outstanding and was celebrated with well-deserved post-run drinks. We are already looking forward to next year’s event and hope to bring even more colleagues along for the ride! Out Investors is a global network that aims to bring together LGBTQIA+ investment professionals and their allies from private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, and other asset management firms. Pride Month is a wonderful time to celebrate the diversity and inclusivity within the community.   This year, the London chapter of Out Investors hosted a memorable Pride Event overlooking Green Park in central London. The event was co-organised by Advent International, Bain Capital, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), Permira, and ICG. This collaboration across our five firms fostered an incredible sense of unity and camaraderie helping bring the Out Investors’ community closer together.   The event was a huge success for the third year running, providing a platform for investment professionals and colleagues to network and celebrate Pride on a roof terrace bathed in splashes of sunshine.   A heartfelt thank you to all those who attended this fantastic event and a special thank you to those who helped organise it. Amolyt Pharma, previously a portfolio company of the ICG Life Sciences team, is now part of AstraZeneca. The transaction – for up to $1.05bn in total consideration – was announced in March. Amolyt Pharma is a clinical stage biotechnology company. Its expert team delivers life-changing treatments to patients suffering from rare endocrine and related diseases. ICG co-led the €130 million (approx. $138m) Series C equity financing in January 2023, with Toby Sykes, Managing Director in the ICG Life Sciences team, taking a board position in Amolyt. 💬 Toby commented: “Amolyt is a perfect example of the companies that we seek to support – a high quality European business that is developing innovative products addressing significant unmet need.
