    *****NEW VACANCY***** #JanikinEnergyJobs #EnergyJobs #EngineeringJobs Project Director – Waste to Energy – UK (Perm or Contract) Project Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Project#1 UK project through Financial Closure (FC) up to Commencement of Operations Date (CoD). The postholder will work closely with a team of technology providers, project managers, engineers, EPC contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Additional projects in EU and US will be developed after Project#1, as part of a pipeline that will provide continuity to the role. Responsibilities Provide project direction for the end-to-end delivery of the Project#1 project Manage a large and diverse team to ensure high quality execution of the project. Project implementation including execution activities, reporting, budget development, progress monitoring Regularly monitor project progress and adjust as needed to ensure successful project completion. Develop risk mitigation strategies and plans for implementation. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, project requirements and industry standards. Overall responsibility for delivery of the project: be the primary focal point for all key stakeholders, reporting to the Board therefore, actively manage key relationships internally and externally. Lead the development of subsequent projects in EU / US   Requirements Knowledge. Qualifications and skillsets Master’s degree in Engineering Project Management qualification A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Management / Project Development for waste-to-energy, chemical, oil&gas, energy infrastructure projects A demonstrable track-record as Project Director, or similar roles, to develop project to FC and / or during construction Well-rounded expertise on both technical, commercial and financial aspects of Project Development Experience in First of a kind and/or gasification projects will be considered a plus          Skills required: Strong planning & organizing skills, combined with business acumen Strong persuading and influencing skill, particularly for stakeholders management Ability to work effectively under pressure in a diverse work group involving significant outside contacts ·         Excellent communications and presentation skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and succinctly. Able to develop draft plans and budgets, and to organize programs and projects involving both internal and external resources. ·         Demonstrates deep understanding of the safety management risks associated with the energy industry sector. Almeno cinque anni di esperienza professionale nello sviluppo e nella gestione di progetti di parchi eolici e impianti fotovoltaici. Esperienza nella preparazione e nel seguito di processi di Autorizzazione Unica per parchi eolici e impianti fotovoltaici in conformità alla normativa Regionale e/o Nazionale.
