Powered by twin Volvo Penta D13 600 hp diesel engines matched to dual MJP 350X waterjets, this vessel was built with state-of-the-art features to keep its crew safe. During search and rescue missions the Captain controls the vessel's precise movements with his integrated armrest controls, knowing his divers are much safer without exposed spinning propellers in the water. Our Coniston trip was a great success. All in we raised over £800 through GoFundMe to replace tired equipment. Over the next week or so, I’ll be posting about the enablers that made the weekend happen. The first of which is Marine Specialised Technology Group who supported the event by allowing us use of their tow vehicles and marine equipment. Based locally on the Wirral, MST is an international supplier of workboats and is a regular supporter of the unit.
