Norfolk and Waveney Mind will have a presence at local Prides over the upcoming weeks, and we are ‘buzzing’ to show off our exclusive Pride merch, which was designed by our LGBTQIA+ working group! 🌈🐝 T-shirts and tote bags will be available to buy from our stand at The Forum during Norwich Pride on Saturday, July 27th. They are also available to order from our online shop at https://lnkd.in/ec5RS2Wr. All proceeds will go to Norfolk and Waveney Mind, meaning every purchase will support our work and help us to ensure that no one has to face poor mental health alone.

About us
We're Norfolk and Waveney Mind, your local mental health charity offering an extensive range of mental health services, along with associated training, advice and information. We believe that no one should have to face poor mental health alone and with the right support and resources anybody can create a life that feels meaningful to them. We work in our communities to raise awareness and reduce the stigma associated with mental health. With over one in four people experiencing a mental health problem and 104 people choosing to take their own lives each week in the UK, the need for good quality mental health support, advice and information is vital. As a local Mind, we are independent charity - we raise our own funds, and we have our own Board of Trustees who are responsible for how we’re run. Being local we understand our community and tailor our services in response to what people need most. Being part of the Mind network means we benefit from shared support, knowledge and ideas. Nationally, Mind gives advice and support to anyone who needs it, campaigns to improve services and raise awareness. We work in partnership with Mind nationally and the other local Minds in our network to deliver high quality services to anyone who needs them. Back for 2024, our annual “Do Blue” campaign for World Mental Health Day! Unite with us on the 10th October and turn Norfolk and Waveney blue to help raise awareness and vital funds to support our work right here in Norfolk and Waveney. The theme for #WorldMentalHealthDay2024 is prioritising mental health in the workplace. Up to 84% of people will experience a mental health problem at some point in their lifetime, with work life having the potential to be a huge trigger. We’re asking businesses to help us highlight the importance of prioritising mental health in the workplace by taking part in “Do Blue”, whether that’s by holding a blue bake off, dressing up blue, lighting your building up blue or displaying a blue flag. Join us in the fight for better mental health! Find out more and get involved at https://lnkd.in/daca9_3U
