This chart shows call volume to one of our British pub clients during Wednesday's England match. Absolutely silent during gameplay, a quick burst of calls during half time, and then, as soon as England secures a win, a surge in calls from customers looking to book a table for the final. Luckily, this pub uses PolyAI to take reservations over the phone, so its staff could focus on pouring pints for the fans celebrating on site. The moral of the story? You can't always predict spikes in call volume, but you can still be there for your customers when they need you. Big shout out to the optimistic customers who secured a table booking at half time 👏 We're glad you weren't disappointed!
