On International Women’s Day, we want to acknowledge the progress we have made on gender diversity while accepting that this is an area where we can do more. Pictured on the main stage at our recent leadership conference in Lisbon are just some of the talented female colleagues we have at Rubix. It’s a reminder of the great role models in our business and it gives us even greater determination to ensure we continue to develop our pipeline of future talent. We're pleased that the employee engagement gender gap at Rubix closed to just one point in our most recent survey, and we are proud that it has reduced significantly since 2018 – even if one point is one point too many! Making Rubix a great place to work for everyone is the first step to improving diversity. With that in mind: - We designed and deployed a new and consistent talent attraction message: ‘Bring your difference’. This recruitment campaign aims to appeal to a broader candidate pool. - We launched our first ever ‘Women in Business’ development programme with delegates from across Rubix. These high potential women are currently completing a 24-month development path, consisting of a series of engaging development workshops whilst being individually mentored by our most senior female leaders. - For all roles in central corporate functions we have set and agreed targets with our external recruitment agency partners to increase the female representation on candidate shortlists. Those are just three of the Group-level initiatives we have in place and there are countless other local initiatives either planned or underway. Just as we will never ‘finish’ our work on diversity at Rubix, our commitment to improving it will never stop.

We’re delighted that we have retained our gold EcoVadis rating, which we achieved for the first time last year. Group CEO Franck Voisin commented: “I’m pleased to see that our ongoing efforts on environmental, social and governance issues have been recognised in the latest EcoVadis assessment. We see no finish line when it comes to ESG and I look forward to working with my colleagues as we build on this great result.”
