Tŷ Hafan and 2wish provide vital support to families across Wales and the UK, and we are delighted to enter a two year partnership with both organisations following an employee vote for which local and national charity they would like to support. Our partnership will help strengthen positive links between our employees and local communities and our fundraising event and volunteering programme is underway, with over £6,500 already raised at our annual Football Festival. We are delighted to share our charities of the year, 2wish and Tŷ Hafan. Chosen by our employees, these organisations carry out invaluable support for families across Wales and the UK, and we are proud to champion their work. We’ll be giving back to these charities through various fundraising initiatives throughout the year and our “Give a Day” policy, which empowers our employees to contribute to local causes. Just in time for the Euros, our fundraising programme kicked off last weekend with our annual Football Festival! We were thrilled to welcome 82 teams of boys and girls aged 6-11, and thanks to the generosity of everyone in attendance, more than £6,500 was raised for the two charities. A big thank you must also to our employees who gave their time to volunteer at the event.

Always a pleasure to talk about my role and The Royal Mint - thank you Peter Stojanovic for letting me talk about marketing, leadership and customers at one of the world's oldest brands. Today, The Royal Mint is on a journey of transformation - now a premium, global brand at the forefront of the sustainable precious metals industry, and operating a portfolio of businesses - from precious metals investments, to commemorative coins and luxury jewellery (886 by The Royal Mint). We are also pioneering new ways to protect precious metals for the future with our world-first factory that will open later this year to recover gold from electronic waste - more on this soon!
