Earlier this week our founder James Hacon returned as the Master of Ceremonies of the 4th edition of the Only A Pavement Away Cook and Dine event. Working alongside Greg Mangham, Tom Aikens, Karen Wallin, Johanna Wimmer, Janene Pretorius, Ashley McCarthy CBII, Kelly McCarthy CBII and a whole host of volunteers, they delivered a fantastic lunch to 350 guests and raised over £42k for the charity. Saluhall is a plant-forward food hall concept that will launch in San Francisco early next year, operated as a collaboration with Claus Meyer and KERB Food. Watch this space for further updates.
It's official🎉 Saluhall, our new, plant-forward food hall will open soon in our future meeting place in San Francisco. We'll be collaborating with Claus Meyer, one of the founders of the New Nordic Cuisine, and KERB Food, the renowned London-based experts in curating dynamic, democratic food halls, to offer the many San Franciscans the delicious taste of Scandinavian food culture. Saluhall will transform the traditional food hall experience through an ambitious commitment to a plant-forward way of life and spotlighting local food, drink and people. Together with our partners we will aim for an 80% plant-based offer coming from an exciting selection of local food and drink businesses soon to be announced. "Saluhall is a celebration of Scandinavian food principles that nourish both body and soul. Embracing the ethos of a progressive city, Saluhall is more than a food hall. It is a community, a meeting and eating place that unites local vendors and inspires conscious food choices,” says Stéphane Keulian, our F&B Concept Development Leader. The food hall will occupy 2,500 sqm across two floors of our future meeting place and is set to open at the beginning of 2024. As a part of the distinctive food experiences, Saluhall will feature created by Claus Meyer bakery, an all-day Scandinavian themed bakery-based café and bar.
