AccorInvest and Covivio Hotels sign a framework agreement regarding an asset swap between our two groups. The asset swap operation is expected to be finalized in the last quarter of 2024. The asset swap concerns hotels, which #AccorInvest operates under lease agreements with Covivio Hotels. Our aim is to intensify our full ownership model exposure, combining real estate property and business interest. This operation should enhance the quality and overall value of our portfolio and contribute to the long-term future of our company. In the summer of 2022. A group of 30 Aimbridge Accor EMEA hotels started a mission to drive our collective guest RPS score above and beyond the brand target. But, through the action of our people, not capital investment.   We focused on 6 key areas – all within the control of our hotels. Set up monthly calls with Accor. Set up focus groups. Carried out F2F Quality visits. Held interactive guest experience roadshows. Maintained “The Heartist” experience at over 90%. Encourage all the team to offer personalised service and we focused on individual name mentions.  We shared best practice and shouted loud about success, and we lauded our champions. We did exceed the target in 2023 by +1.5%.   As for the 2024 YTD scores. We are collectively smashing our brand target. We are +4.5% up SPIT LY and a staggering +9.3% on the summer of 2022. We are not there yet; we still have bumps in the roads – but the future of our guest RPS is looking very good indeed. #oneteampullingtogether #AimbridgeEMEA #Accor    I work with the most amazing hotel teams, led by fabulous GMs who just get it. Engaged people, simple processes, focus on what can we do = great results. Michelin are launching a 1, 2 and 3 tier system for rating hotels - replacing the coveted #michelinstars with #michelinkeys. Crucially, restaurants in hotels may also be awarded a Michelin Star. So they will be reviewed independently. But doesn't it make for a more favourable choice if a hotel has a great restaurant? Interesting to see how it pans out... I hope windows that can be opened are a pre-requisite for any 1-, 2- or 3- Key hotel. I loathe being in a hermetically-sealed room with temperature and air-changes-per-hour dictated by a remote.
