  • The Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global: A Critical Analysis and Comparison with Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority

    This paper evaluates Norway’s Government Pension Fund, reviewing and comparing it with the sovereign wealth funds of Canada and the United Arab Emirates. The work demonstrates that there are alternative approaches to managing natural resource wealth using SWFs and that the approach selected can vastly impact the success of the fund.
