Isn't bad for keeping an eye on the front door, good alternative to ring
I like that it doesn't go off for no reason, however if you don't pay for the subscription you it take forever to load the video alerts.Compact, good quality video, battery lasts few months depending on the batteries used, bought 256gb USB thinking it would hold content but id say even 128gb or less would suffice. At the moment it is all over the place however I've ordered separately a casing for the device.Wasn't clear but did arrive with the 2 cameras I ordered
Thank you for your feedback

So simple to use, made easy syncing with our blink door bell, mini 2 and outdoor cameras giving us storage and the facility to live view through our doorbell to check that the coast is clear to leave the house without being bothered by the neighbours, you’ll need a usb connector memory card though, 32gb works ok as the system flushes itself every three days anyway.

Nice and small unit so tucks away.

We have just had to swap our BT Hub 5 to EE with Homephone. This resulted in changing our router and the Blink system, out door and indoor cameras stopped working. I tried to reassign the Sync Module to the new WiFi but it kept on rejecting the password!!
Having trawled the net for info I have resolved the problem. I purchased a new Sync Module2 (They have been updated) and carried out the following. I got EE to check and refresh our connection. After that was done switch off and back on the router. This resets any anomalies on the system. Next delete the old Sync Module. Pug in the new Sync Module and switch on. Then go through the Sync Module activation process. This time the new router Password was recognised and registered the Blink System.
After all that my 2 indoor Mini cameras had to be re registered to the new WiFi hub. This is achieved by pressing the reset button and then entering the new password. eureka!!
This all sounds complicated if like me your not Tech Smart but if you work through it step by step it is relatively easy. Good Luck.

It's great now set up. Had it installed ( green and blue solid light). The app was saying it wasn't connected to the internet but clearly was. Customer Service useless kept saying about common connection problems. Uninstalled the app, re installed, works great. Bear in mind you need a usb flash drive to record. But it's great you don't need to pay subscription.

I’ve had the blink camera system for around 3 years and when set up correctly it is brilliant, you just have to fine tune the setup so as you’re not changing batteries every few months. Recently I just switched to fibre optic broadband and unfortunately when I went to set up the blink system back up to work of the new broadband it didn’t work, so I had to purchase a new module in order for it to work again I think it’s to do with the GHz of the module the old one was 2.4Ghz and the new broadband is 5Ghz. The module arrived in a few days took around 30mins to reset the system and reinstall it again, it now works great again and happy to report that the system is back up and running perfectly, highly recommend this system

I wish more of these doorbell systems had a module like this. Simply being able to plug a USB into this to allow for local storage of recordings rather than needing to pay for a monthly subscription has been a major bonus. Connects and plays well with the existing Doorbell.

We bought one Syncmodule per camera to make sure they are within 3 feet of each other. Even so, the cameras and Syncmodules disconnect every couple of weeks. The only way to reconnect the camera to the Syncmodule is to take the camera down, take the batteries out to effectively switch the camera off and back on. The batteries outlive the connection status by miles! The cameras really need some kind of power switch so they can be shutdown and rebooted in-situ to reconnect with the Syncmodule easily.

I upgraded my internet to fibre , and my 2 blink cameras and blink door bell , stopped working . The sync 2 didn t recognizes my password and user . One months I searched videos , informations but it was useless. I even contacted blink customer service , which doesn t have customer service in uk , you have to call in Europe at Blink customer service . I email ed the company , and after a week I received the same informations that I already knew, so useless . The only option to still use the cameras and door bell , which I already spent £200 for , it was to buy a new blink sync 2 unit . It works but slow , it s getting jammed , it s slow motion , it disconnet from internet . So this is what you get from blink , a company that are selling their products in Uk but don t have customer service in Uk , but in Europe .
