Realme has launched the vanilla variant at a starting price of ₹16,999, and ₹20,999 for the Plus variant.
In January, the Realme 12 Pro and Pro Plus were launched in India with a unique design. Realme has unveiled two more smartphones under its new Realme 12 series. The series brings forth two new smartphones, the vanilla Realme 12 5G and the Realme 12+ 5G. The smartphones enter the sub-20k market. Let me quickly tell you all about these two new smartphones.
Realme 12 and Realme 12 Plus specifications
Speaking of the specs of the Realme 12 series, you get to see a new design language brought forward by Realme for these two smartphones. You get a vegan leather finish on the back and the camera module kind of looks like a watch dial. The Realme 12 features a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate support. With the Realme 12+, you get a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display along with a 120 refresh rate.

On the performance front, the Realme 12 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Realme 12+ 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. We get two storage options here; 8GB 128GB and 8GB 256GB. Both smartphones run on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0. In addition to this, Realme has also incorporated a 3D VC cooling system in the plus variant to help the thermals.
Coming to cameras, you get a triple camera setup on both smartphones. The Realme 12 includes a 108-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and one more 2-megapixel sensor. The Realme 12+ has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel Ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel Macro sensor.
We get a 5,000mAh battery with both smartphones. However, the Realme 12 supports 45-watt fast charging, and the Plus variant has a 67-watt fast charging support.

Realme has launched the vanilla variant at a starting price of ₹16,999, and ₹20,999 for the Plus variant. But if you purchase these devices between March 6 to March 10, you can avail of a ₹2000 discount. The smartphones are available for purchase on Flipkart.
