Asset Director

Remuneration Package Per Month: $45,000 - $50,000 per month

 

Our client is seeking an experienced Asset Director who will manage and lead the offshore asset operations and team, steers operation and business performance and takes the appropriate decisions to maintain, sustain and develop healthy asset operation and growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and leads the management & execution for all aspects of operations work with the Technical Director, Shared Services Director and the various functional operation Teams Managers to prioritize and focus on operation opportunities.
  • Delegate responsibilities to the Technical and Shared Services Directors and ensures their active participation in the efficient management of their subordinate teams.
  • Ensures safe work is carried out by the Teams throughout the various operational functions.
  • Directs, supervises and responsible for the overall operations, management, development and maintenance of asset operation Fields, Reservoirs and Facilities
  • Monitors & tracks the performance metrics, production performance, remedial actions, flow assurances.
  • Manages, directs, monitors and responsible for the performance of hired service providers.
  • Initiates, directs and supervises asset operations business and performance management planning and implementation to achieve the target KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), cost control target and measures and asset operations healthy revenue growth and profitability targets.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to address performance issues, challenges, deliver solutions and drive process improvements.
  • Demonstrate Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ensure the implementation, utilization, maintenance and improvement of industry offshore operation standards, procedures, plans and rules.
  • Ensures development and management of safe operation systems and procedures and operations of facilities.
  • Manage the asset organization management team to produce their best performance and their teams and impact the production positively.
  • Manage and maintain the Asset Baseline production operation, maintenance and activities to sustain production at best maximum output.
  • Ensures the implementation for best operation practices and ensure continuous improvement processes are in place and productively implemented.
  • Ensure and monitors the application for the target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to endeavor surpassing monthly objectives.
  • Maintain open, effective and constant communication procedures
  • Act as the sole approval authority for asset activities and services.
  • Ensure the availability of the information required to update all key performance indicators and setting / achieving / surpassing monthly departmental goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the continuous enhancements in processes, best practices and workflows to optimize the Asset's value contribution.
  • Directs and supervises the development and become the asset operations Business Continuity Plan owner.
  • Implement quality control measures.
  • Mentors less experienced company co-workers and inculcate a learning and development culture together with coaching, mentoring and succession planning.
  • Ensures service quality Excellence.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering
  • 20 years experience in Petroleum Assets development and performance sustainability
  • Africa experience is highly desirable
  • Wide exposure to international Oil & Gas operations
  • Background experience with Assets transition and post transition obligations, management and operation
  • Sufficient knowledge background about Oil & Gas Assets management and performance
  • Proficiency in Oil& Gas Reservoir Engineering and analysis
  • Proficiency in English Language
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, people management and motivation skills

 

Salary & Package:

The position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $50,000 per month, which is inclusive of all benefits.
