Following the last release, the Chat team has released these additional features for Admins in the Developer Preview Program, including looking up detailed information about a space or user within a space, updating space details (name, description, guidelines), and changing a member's role (for example, upgrading to a space manager) 🎉
The Google Workspace Developer preview is open to anyone who:
- has a Workspace Account (*please do not apply with your gmail account, as we need to verify your Google Workspace account!)
- has a Google Cloud account (*we need this because we provide the feature's API access via your Google Cloud project(s))
- agrees with the program terms
