Chinese Mandarin will not translate

I am building a translation App with Google Cloud Translation but Chinese Mandarin will not translate. Has anyone had this problem before? I have over 30 languages in the App and they all translate but Chinese Mandarin will not translate anything.

Looking at https://cloud.google.com/translate/docs/languages, I don't see Mandarin per se but you would know better I am sure.  Have you looked to see if it is supported? -KAM
