Individual Training

HL7 offers multiple training options accessible across the globe to suit everyone's needs.

Live Online Classes & Webinars

Live online classes and webinars offer an opportunity to engage with expert instructors and participate in active discussions. These instructors are practicing professionals, often authors of the standards and can address a wide range of topics focused on interoperability across the healthcare continuum. Online classes are over an hour in length and typically run for more than one day. Webinars are under an hour and are scheduled for one-day only.

Classes and webinars are held throughout the year and registration includes access to the recording for six months. See our current offerings on the right.

Asynchronous (no live sessions) Courses

Asynchronous courses are delivered online and led by an instructor. While these courses are scheduled during a specific timeframe, live sessions are not included which makes them accessible from any time zone around the world. A key benefit of these courses is that a tutor is assigned to each participant, reinforcing the opportunity for a successful learning experience.

Current asynchronous courses include:

Education On Demand

HL7's Education On Demand is an online source for professional development and certification preparation resources. Recorded versions of online classes, webinars and presentations, as well as study guides and practice exams are accessible at any time.

Users can search by standard, topic or instructor. HL7 members can enjoy free access to past Member Advantage Webinars as well as discounts on products for purchase.
