Here i want to add, that some leaders resort to delegation very defensively if not timidly. You or your organisation hires person inline with suitibility for a particular role. I slightly disagree with above paragrapg for starting with smaller tasks. and would suggest that starting with tasks one to maximum two bars lower than their designation. One of my friend had oppertunity while having to work with a boss after 30 years of professional life, boss stared of with not more than entry level tasks assignments.
