One of the first steps to create a sense of community and belonging in a DAO is to define the vision and values of the organization. What is the purpose and mission of the DAO? There are good reasons for this drag on buzz. Initial spaces are typically initiated by those who often (not always) take the first steps IRL: those who have louder voices, are confident in collaborative work, and move easily in settings of high ambiguity. The DAO can benefit by making space for those who do not get involved early on. More time and curiosity can be used for individual outreaches to nudge those who have not yet engaged. By consciously allocating resource, DAOs will set free a wider diversity of individuals and their creativity, identity, stories and ambitions.

This addition would be vital for maintaining a cohesive community atmosphere and long-term sustainability.
