Micromanagement is unfortunately common, and nothing kills innovation faster. The best way to foster innovation is to create an environment where employees can voice their ideas and leverage their unique skills. Beyond financial rewards and verbal recognition, what truly drives creativity is the freedom and space to explore and innovate without restrictive supervision. The best way to motivate creativity is to allow it and then acknowledge the results.
