How do you incorporate your brand voice and personality into your video ad script?

In my experience you can't effectively define your brand voice in a vacuum. You have to try out your brand voice. Brand voice is refined in an ongoing conversation between your brand and your consumers. You should have a good idea of who you are, but voices and tones change as brands mature. One mistake that many brands make is that they pick only one voice. No body wants to be stuck at the party with the guy who just wants to talk about work, at the same time a million jokes a minute can get old. Play around with multiple voices and focus on what rings true. Learn how to incorporate seriousness and humor into what you do. A fully fleshed out brand should have personality, not just a monotone

Interesting that you put the tone, style, and attitude that you use to communicate with your audience first. As a voice-over I totally agree because I know that if you have a good idea of this, it frames the search for a suitable voice-over and you will be able to captivate your target group. Together with the other pillars, the tone for success has been set.

One thing that helps me is having a description of the person or persona talking and how they talk about a subject. My current work reflects a positive optimistic tone, never snarky. A guide, someone who seeks understanding and genuine interest in achieving positive outcomes, sometimes in very challenging circumstances.

One mistake I see many brands make is assuming either an audience that is too narrow or an audience that looks too much like themselves. Broadening you voice may be the best way to widen your sales funnel. We have continually found new audiences by taking a "persona agnostic" approach trying to speak to as many people as possible.

If your video seeks to educate or answer questions on a topic, including mention of a related piece of content is best. You can mention where in the description it can be found (link). Optionally, if you know, the video is going to be located on YouTube, you can include a closing call to action pointing to a box where a related video will be placed in the closing seconds of the piece. This increases engagement on your overall channel content. If you want to increase subscribers to your channel, including a call to action partway through to subscribe, it can be very effective.

In my experience, a catchy hook is fun and hard enough to come up with, but to carry the hook through the length of the ad, a hook shoul be closely tied to the pain the consumer feels and the deep needs you brand serves.

The biggest weakness I continually see in major brand ads is a failure to simply mention you product and where to buy it. A simple "click here now" can be incredibly effective.

REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE... incorporate your values, your humor, your accent, your story, your strengths, and weaknesses, (Own it all) - breath, and just be you, it is as simple as that... you belong to YOU, and you alone. (people will always have an opinion, and that is theirs, your job is to be you, own your voice, own your point of view, stand in your truth, and with love, mission, and purpose SHOW UP. (remember to breathe) You got this! **Even the best and most experienced actors have blooper reels - give yourself permission to be perfectly imperfect.
